How do you diagnose engine issues?
We take the 3 basic principles that make an engine run and check each one until we find the issue.
What are the most common problems you see with small engines?

What does a standard tune-up include?
A standard tune up includes an oil change, spark plug replacement, air filter replacement, fuel filter (if applicable), a general inspection of wires, hoses and battery(if applicable), brakes(if applicable), tires(if applicable)
How often should my engine be serviced?
Every engine is different, it is the owners responsibility to keep track of hours/miles and follow the OEM specification for engine service
Do you offer preseason or offseason maintenance packages?
Absolutely
Can you winterize or de-winterize my snowmobile or ATV?
Absolutely
Do you offer oil changes, valve adjustments, and belt replacements?
All of the above
Parts & Components
Do you use OEM or aftermarket parts?
OEM above all and if I cannot find and oem part, I will go to the aftermarket with customer approval.
Can you install customer-supplied parts?
Depending on the component, yes, if it is a known bad manufacturer I will advise against it.
Do you source hard-to-find or specialty parts?
Yes, although it can be tricky and many parts vary from machine to machine, we will try our hardest to find a part.
Scheduling & Turnaround
Do I need an appointment or do you accept walk-ins?
Appointments are preferred but if you give us a call there’s a good chance we can fit you in.
What is the typical turnaround time for repairs?
it depends on the repair, services are usually a one day turn around.
Do you offer rush or priority service?
Yes, however at a higher rate.
How will I be notified when my repair is complete?
We will give you the customer a call and text to let them know the machine is ready to be picked up.
Pricing & Payments
Do you provide estimates before starting work?
Yes
Is there a diagnostic fee?
If the machine is having an unknown problem yes there will be fee and will be discussed with the customer.
How do you charge, hourly or flat rate?
We charge by the hour and the price depends on the piece of equipment.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash (credit coming soon)
Warranty & Guarantees
Do you offer a warranty on repairs or labor?
if it is something we did I will be sure make it right
What happens if the issue comes back after a repair?
We do not have a problem taking another look and working it out
Are parts covered under warranty?
The only warranty is if the factory parts we use have a specified warranty.

Should I clean my vehicle before bringing it in?
Yes, we do charge a cleaning fee
Do I need to drain fuel before service?
No, we will take care of that.

How much experience does Owen have with small engines?
Owen formally trained at WCCC, where he studied Small Engine Repair and Automotive Technology, combining hands-on education with real-world experience in engine repair services. Over the years, he sharpened his skills by learning from mentors, working alongside other technicians, and continually pushing himself to understand how engines perform at their best. In the end, Owen has years of hands-on experience repairing small engines, from maintaining and rebuilding his own equipment to servicing machines for others. That depth of experience led him to step forward and serve his community with reliable, expert engine repair at a honest price.
